Best way to describe me is with this quote from the movie "Stardust" with Claire Danes. My eternal search for a love like this has defined who I am.

"My heart....It feels like my chest can barely contain it. Like it's trying to escape because it doesn't belong to me any more. It belongs to you. And if you wanted it, I'd wish for nothing in exchange - no gifts,no goods. No demonstration of devotion. Nothing but knowing you loved me too. Just your heart, in exchange for mine."

Having lived the loneliness of living my life mostly in my head will explain why I enjoy Movies, Reading Books and listening to songs.
I have had so much in my life but it hasn't been enough. Most would say that I'm selfish for wanting it all. I'd say they're right but imagine for one minute if we experienced this kind of unimaginable love if there would be wars, hatred, intolerance and all the rest.

For who can experience such love and not be so touched as to eliminate all the hatred in our hearts?

I have accumulated all sorts of things throughout my life but I still have this hole in my heart which has not been filled, but I would give it all away for a minute, a week, a month of a love like this and I would say that all the pain I have suffered would have been worthwhile.

But it is not to be, so movies, words and song must suffice and must continue to make my life bearable.

To my darling pooch "Lilly" who senses my sadness and comes to lick away my tears although she cannot speak the words of comfort I so desperately need.

About my collections

I must comment on all the wonderful people on this site. I am a lonely soul who has no friends but find it comforting to know I can at least share a little of who I am with wonderful people on Listal.

I thought I would just give a heartfelt thank you to some of the beautiful and wonderful people such as Kathy, Iceviper, Venice, Villiana, Jordan, Dark Warrior, Dereko, Plaguewielder, RickTerenzi, Marek, Isabel, Lain Coubert, BAMF, Severin Severin, Vixen, Brad Wesley, Trekmedin, mirinbuddy, etc. I realize that by naming names I run the risk of leaving some very important people out and for that I apologize if I miss you but nonetheless you are still in my heart.

My movie viewing, book reading and music listening choices have always been a reflection of my personality for better or worse.

I know no one reads these profiles anyhow but man it sucks to be lonely even when you're surrounded by others. The silence can be deafening.
